Our Mission

Our mission is to advance housing opportunities, end homelessness, and promote vibrant communities.

 Housing Alliance Delaware is a statewide nonprofit organization that works with partners to address the affordable housing needs in our communities and solve the crisis of homelessness.

 

Housing Alliance Delaware builds coalitions, coordinates access to help for people experiencing homelessness, and shares information with the public and decision-makers to achieve our mission.

Centralized Intake

Centralized Intake (CI) is Delaware’s Coordinated Entry system. Homeless households in need of shelter can call

1-833-FIND-BED. 

Community Management Information System

Community Management and Information Systems (CMIS) is the Delaware Continuum of Care’s Homeless Management Information System (HMIS).

The Delaware Continuum of Care

The Delaware Continuum of Care is a community-based collaborative that ensures a responsive, fair, and just approach to addressing homelessness, and strives to achieve housing for all.

Policy & Community Development

HAD facilitates the work of the Sussex Housing Group, the Delaware Affordable Housing Coalition and the Delaware Community Development Network. 

This work includes advocacy, policy, and planning that promotes affordable housing.
