The DE CoC partnered with Community Legal Aid Society Housing Advocates and Fair Housing Experts to provide the annual Fair Housing and Equal Access Training on 9/16/24. This training provided homeless and housing service providers with an overview of federal, state, and local fair housing and equal access requirements. Participants learned about their legal obligations related to discriminatory policies and practices, and about compliance with federal regulations. The training focused on fair and equitable treatment of persons regardless of disability, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and gender identity, with the goal of fostering environments of respect, equality, and inclusivity for all.
